As I settle in for a relaxing (hmm-mm... ;-) day of NaNo-ing, I thought what fun it would be to talk the latest BOOK COVERS.
I'm sure you've seen a great many of them over at Rel's blog, but in my humble opinion, you can never see a great book cover too many times. Several of them I've already pre-ordered and soooo excited that I get to live in a world of great Christian fiction. We might be busy readers, but we're certainly not bored readers. :D
Check 'em out. And tell me in the comments which one is your favorite(s).
Oh I love Denise Hunter! I didn't know she had a new one coming out. Thanks! I will have to add that one to my list.
ReplyDeleteI remembered giving my opinion during her Facebook poll for a title, but LOVE the cover they come up for it!
DeleteI love Becky Wade's cover! Karen Witemeyer's is a close second! And Lorna's is right on their heels! They are all good but these three are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Judy
Here, here Judy!
DeleteI like the covers to "undeniably yours" and "barefoot summer" best. Even the titles captivate. And I agree. We live in a world of great Christian fiction!
ReplyDeleteTell the World
YES! Love the titles too. A great title combined with a great cover, is a great way to snag that book off the self for another look. :)
DeleteThe When Love Calls is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteDon't you LOVE all the purple??
DeleteHonestly these are all amazing! But something about Becky Wade's takes the cake for me... Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhich is pretty much what I thought I saw it too, Amy.
DeleteWow!! Those look great. I love Becky Wade and Beth Vogt's in particular. A good cover can make me buy the book.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you there. I know they say you can't judge a book by it's cover and you can't, but I think it makes a difference. So glad your puppy is back home!!
DeleteOooh! What fun to see these great covers. I hadn't seen Beth's before. It's great. And Lorna's? Wow, wow, and triple wow! I want that dress. =)
ReplyDeleteI thought you might like all the purple, Keli. I know I do. ;-)
DeleteFirst I would say "Stealing the Preacher" because I like historical fiction.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the preacher on the book cover looks just like Jeremiah in the TV show "Breaking Amish"!
Second would be "When Love Calls". That's such an intense photograph.
I don't know what it is about historical covers, but they are ones I always seem to gravitate towards. They usually have the best covers too. :) So much detail!
DeleteLooks like some good reading ahead for you! Love the covers!!! Covers are what always "get me" to read the book :)
ReplyDeleteI hear ya there, Julie!
DeleteThis is the first time I've seen the cover for Catch a Falling Star - I love it!! It's awesome and creative - and makes me excited for the story. :)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes on your NaNo-ing!
~Amber
Isn't it a sweet one? A bit different as far as creative style, but I like it too. And I love the story idea. :)
DeleteLorna Seilstad's When Love Calls cover is absolutely gorgeous. The purple just drew my eye to it. The other covers did, also, but the purple...I am looking forward to reading each of these books, though. If only there were just more time in the day to read each and every book that draws my attention; and keep up with my other responsibilities, as well.
ReplyDeleteOh don't I agree with there! There are NEVER enough reading hours in a day!
DeleteMy favorites would have to be Undeniably Yours Becky Wade
ReplyDeleteStealing the preacher Karen Witemeyer
Small Town girl Ann H gabhart
and Catch a falling star Beth K Vogt
I stumbled on Ann's cover while on Amazon last night. Definitely love what they did with that one. Has a very nostalgic feel to it that I love.
DeleteWonderful goods from you, man. I have have in mind your

Casey ~ thanks for the nod to my blog ~ you are a sweetheart :)
ReplyDeleteI've just posted another cover art preview on mid 2013 releases from Faithwords and there will be more to come soon. Once the synopses are available, I'll be posting all of Revell's line up.
Stealing the Preacher is cute but a bit more plain that Karen's previous books. I think Denise's is great, Becky and Beht's are cute and Ann's is gorgeous in it's simplicity.
Have a lovely day, my friend xo
Of course! I always find the best covers on your site. :) I absolutely love the cover and nostalgia of Carla's cover, so pretty and sweet. Yes, Karen's is more simple, but I love the gleam in the heroine's eye, promises fun I think. I love the red of Ann's cover. Immediately caught my eye. Thanks for coming by!! A lovely day to you as well. :)
DeleteLOVE these covers, Casey! Thanks for sharing them! : )
ReplyDeleteMe too! Have you done searches on Amazon for a publishing house + the release year? I found a BUNCH of covers...so much fun!!
DeleteI haven't tried that, but I'll have to do that. It's always fun to see the new releases!
DeleteHi, its fastidious article about media print, we all be aware of media is

AWESOME! They look beautiful, Casey! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've read and enjoyed previous books by Karen and Becky so I'm excited for that!
AND have you seen the covers for Jody H and Julie L's upcoming releases? Also favorite authors of mine. *Smiling* Whoo-hoo, Christian Fiction, keep 'em coming!! We most definitely are not bored readers!
Thanks Casey!! You're doing a great job on this blog. :-)
Oh and Beth Vogt's too! Loved her debut.
