What I Read This Week

6 books this week (though some took more me more than a week because I read them slower : ) and 18,000 words written on my WIP. That takes me over 60,000 words towards my goal of 90K, about three more weeks of writing!!

And they are:
Love Finds You in Lonesome Prairie Montana by Tricia Goyer and Ocieanna Fleiss
Private Justice by Terri Blackstock
Predator by Terri Blackstock
Before the Season Ends by Linore Rose Burkard
Insight by Deborah Raney
She Walks in Beauty by Siri Mitchell

  1. I've read Before the Season Ends :) Did you like it? I thought it was an enjoyable read. It kind of reminded me of Jane Austin, probably because the hero reminded me of Mr. Darcy ;)

  2. Wow. Sounds like you read some good books. Have you read any good christian fiction books for teens? If you have please tell me, I'm looking for some good ones to read over the summer.

    Thanks,
    Victoria :)

  4. Wow, that's impressive! I used to read that quickly, with 2 kids I am lucky to get 2 books read in a week.

  5. I enjoyed Before the Season Ends to a certain extent, I am not a huge Jane Austen fan, so it didn't thrill me, but it was still fine.

Teen books, Victoria? I really don't read YA, but Siri Mitchell, Laura Frantz, Julie Lessman, Janette Oke, Virginia Smith, Deborah Raney are all great romance authors and worth a great summer read. MaryLu (M.L.) Tyndall too, she is one of my favorites.

Julia, oh boy, please don't ask how I got so much read, it is baffling to me too. I don't expect to keep that rate up in the future. :)
