Giveaway and Author Interview: Hidden in the Everglades

I am pleased to welcome back author Margaret Daley. Margaret has been here several times and has been a popular visitor whenever she does. Because she has been here so many times, I did her interview just a bit different this time around. Enjoy and be sure and enter to win her latest romantic suspense!

During the research of this novel, what did you discover that really surprised you?

There are pythons in the Everglades. They are there because people release them into the Everglades and they are multiplying.

Tell us two things about this story that pushed you out of your comfort zone while writing this story.

Writing scenes in the Everglades. I have been in swamps before and they give me the creeps. Also, figuring out the clues and red herrings and making it all work.

What makes this book unique from your others and other books out on the market?

This is the third story in my female bodyguard series. I wanted to show strong women in a profession that is dominated by men.

Thanks for being here again! J

  10. I love reading Margaret Daley's books especially ones about strong women. I had a lot of damage to my house, car and totaled my son's car during Hurricane Irene. My neighbors 18 year old daughter came and helped her father cut up and dispose of the oak tree that caused the damage. My son and my other neighbor's son who just came out of the Marines after 4 years tried to move the bigger trunk parts and couldn't. This girl picked them up as if they were nothing. My son told the Marine he should date her. he said No, she would beat him up! LOL! If you would like to see the pictures, they are on my Facebook page/Rebecca Booth.
    Thanks!
