Experiment--And I Need Your Help!

I'm hijacking another Wednesday post, but I need your help. :-))

Have you seen the new threaded comments for blogger? I noticed that when I used my regular Internet Explorer, the page wouldn't load a direct link to a blog with threaded comments and I couldn't leave a comment. (I just know they were missing my wise and witty comments.)

However, after I updated to Google Chrome, I could leave comments.

My mom's work computer however, which is your regular computer internet WOULD let me leave comments.

So confusing.

I say ALL that to ask this: if you can read this post and leave a comment, please leave a simple 'yes'.

If I don't see a lot of comments, I will assume you can't. I want my blog to be user friendly and love our conversations. But I love the threaded comments option...

Let's see if we can get this puppy to work.

Thanks for helping me out. :-)

  3. Yes, I can leave comments.
Bit, I too am confused about this.

A few of my blogger friends have it set where they can "reply" right under the comments. I was told how to do this. So I set it up and the reply button did show up. BUT - I could not reply! When I clicked on it, nothing happened??? Do you know anything about THIS?
Ahh the wonderful world of blogger.

    1. Wall, I know EXACTLY what you are saying. Before I updated to Google Chrome I could not immediately reply on my blog's comments. Hopefully blogger can get the bugs worked out.

  5. Yes, baby, yes. (Couldn't leave it at a simple yes, could I?) :D

  6. Yes, but having difficulty. Had to "refresh" a couple of times to finally get the comment box to come up. Could be just my computer being difficult.

  8. Saying yes -- my first one posted with a typo -- the editor in me caught it too late.

  10. Just wanted to try commenting with the new "reply" (threaded?) system --I like it! I think it will be more organized when you have interviews!

Using Firefox from a library computer. =)

    1. OK, so that was supposed to be Ja followed by an exclamation point. Looks more like Jal to me.

(I figured this was a good excuse to see if I could reply on my own comment.)

    2. LOL Keli! It looks like an L because of the font I use. Isn't it fun. ; ) My smiley faces often turn out funny looking too. Ha!

  13. Yep! I converted to Google Chrome months ago because plain old Google was giving me fits with my blog.

  19. Hey Casey - I'm having issues with threaded comments on my blog too. I can see the option on your blog but not on mine. I've double/triple checked the settings but no luck. Suggestions? (iblog4books.blogspot.com)

    Thanks!

    1. I don't really know Brooke, all I know is I was having the exact same problem. Try going into SETTINGS. Click on OTHER and make sure your feed is set to FULL. For some reason I had a friend tell me that mattered. Aside from that, I don't really know. It's a bummer though!
