Book News and More Links!

Book News:
Okay first, does anyone else have this problem on their blogger homepage where their feeds aren't in a scroll box???  Mine aren't and It. Is. Not. Fun!

Enough complaining... I am 18 pages away from finishing my first round of editing on my WIP!! Now I just need to get off Blogger and go do them. :-)

What I read this week included....

And they are:
Within My Heart by Tamera Alexander
Remember by Karen Kingsbury
Lady in Waiting by Susan Meissner
The Perfect Blend by Trish Perry
Love Finds You in Victory Heights, Washington by Tricia Goyer and Ocieanna Fleiss

Julia from Dark Glass Ponderings interviewed me yesterday, I hope you can take a minute to check out the interview here and enter to win a custom blog header!

I stumbled across an awesome opportunity and had my review of Julie Lessman's A Passion Most Pure posted on the blog for Woman's Day! You can see it here

And if you are a writer, Jack Cavanaugh is going to be on the Writer's Alley tomorrow, don't miss it!!

You still have today to enter to win Woodland Christmas and hop over to the Alley for the giveaways there ending tomorrow and announced in the Weekend Edition!!

  1. Errr...I'm having that problem with Blogger, too. It's been doing it since last night.

Wow, you read a lot! Those look like great books--and congrats on the progress of your WIP edit.

  2. Well at least I'm not the only one and maybe they will get it fixed soon!

Yes, I do read a lot, probably too much, but most of those took me a week or so and I finished them last weekend. Only two were read this week.

Thanks Cindy, so nice to see you stop by! Hope your day is going well. :)

  3. I'm having the same problem. I hope that they get it fixed. Congratulations on being so close to the end of edits. You can do it!

  4. Same problem here! I hate Blogger! How did you find out about the Woman's Day reviews? That is sooo cool!

    XOXO~ Renee

  5. Don't you just love that feeling of being so close to the end!! Cherish it, because soon you'll be done and in the dreaded revision stage. o.O

  6. @Christina, at least I'm not the only one. Ha! YES I am done with this first round!! Thanks for the encouragement. :) Now I just get to start Part 2 Monday. :)

@Renee, hopefully they get it fixed soon! I saw the offer for Woman's Day reviews come through the ACFW loop and sent her my ones for Julie's books. She accepted APMP! Julie was pretty excited. :D

@Sarah, LOL, I think my entire editing experience is filled with revisions! But I am enjoying it, especially since I JUST finished those 18 pages and can spend the weekend rejuvanting and preparing for Monday. :)

  7. I read 6 books this week. And my target is only 17 books away!
I had that problem with my dashboard too, but it's fixed now.

  8. I'd love to win Woodland Christmas.

  9. Excited, Casey???? Try ECSTATIC, sweetie!! Thanks again, not only for the GREAT review, but for posting it everywhere under creation!! :)

And, OH, Blogger deals me fits when I post my Seeker blogs -- YUCK!!

But Facebook is right up there, as far as I'm concerned after all the problems I had with the FB Party last night. Sigh.

  10. Casey, will you be reviewing Lady in Waiting or did I miss your review? I'm curious to know if it's a good read . . .

  11. @Beth, got them counted, and my board is fixed now too. :)

@Ann, you gotta go to the Woodland post to enter, okay? :)

@LOL Julie, my dad was so funny. He just couldn't believe it, so when he left for work the next day he said "If you make it onto the New York Times, let me know would you please?" I puttered around that site, but didn't find anything. Off to try Fred Meyer. :D

And oh I hate it when techonlogy won't wory for me either.

@Renee, Lady in Waiting tour will be posted next week, but if you want to check out the review ahead of time, you can click on the Readers Treasure Trove page and scroll to the bottom. Thanks for the interest!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I love to hear from those who traffic my blog! Have a wonderful day. :)
