Giveaway and Author Interview: Undercurrent

Welcome to Writing for Christ Michelle Griep, it is great to have you here! Do you have an interesting fact about yourself the average reader probably doesn’t know?

I love White Castle. Just can’t get enough of those gut bombs. 5 burgers and a fry…mmm, mmm, mmm! And while I’m on the topic of food, nix on the fruit, please. Can’t abide by it. The only fruit I’ll eat is apples.

Do you have a favorite genre to read/write?

Wow. Tough question. Reading a gripping story in any genre thrills me to my literary toes. Forced to choose, though, I’d likely stroll down the historical fiction aisle at the bookstore before hitting the spec fiction. As for writing, definitely historical.

Do you have a nugget of writing advice that has completely changed how you view writing?

Matthew 19:26…with God, all things are possible. That powerful tidbit can empower anything from a stalled out storyline to calming any fears over getting published. God’s sovereignty is freedom indeed.

What do you enjoy most about being a published author?
Royalty checks are nice, but believe it or not, hearing from my readers is even more valuable.

About Undercurrent:
Professor Cassie Larson leads a life her undergrad students hope to attain, until she tumbles into the North Sea and is sucked into a swirling vortex...and a different century.
Alarik, son of a Viking chieftain, is blamed for a murder he didn't commit-or did he? He can't remember. On the run, saving a half-drowned foreign woman wasn't in his plan.

Ragnar is a converted pagan shunned by many but determined to prove his Cousin Alarik's innocence. He didn't count on falling in love with Cassie or the deadly presence of evil that threatens his village in Alarik's absence.

Only time will reveal the outcome.

  10. I LOLed at your White Castle answer! I used to love that place as a kid when I lived in NYC. I'm showing my age here, but they used to be 25 cents a burger.

I can't get them anymore unless I buy them from the frozen food section. They just don't taste the same from the grocery store.
