How many of you have attended a Women of Faith conference in the past?? Maybe read a book in the Women of Faith collection?? (that one might be something you have been more prone to do)
Either way, you have probably heard that name. It has become synominious with a strong ministry. With encouragement for thousands of women across the United States. Great music, great speakers, and this all I've heard from word of mouth.
This year, I have the opportunity to experience it for myself. I am so thrilled and feel so honored to be selected by the Thomas Nelson Booksneeze team to be one of their partner bloggers at this year's Women of Faith conference in Portland, Oregon.
I'll be sharing another post after the event is over in October, so if you live near Portland and plan to attend, be sure and look me up!! And if you don't live in that area, there is an entire list of places the WOF team is going to be this year:

But I gotta admit: my favorite part I'm most looking forward to?? Seeing Mandisa LIVE... and of course attending with my mom. :-))
What about you?? Have you attended before or plan to attend? Any suggestion for me?
I get to attend WOF in Oklahoma City. I went years and years ago(ok, about 15 years ago) in Sacramento, CA. The one I'm going to isn't until November. I look forward to reading about your experience.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to one in October and Sarah Palin is supposed to be there. It will be my first time and I'm looking forward to it! :)
ReplyDeleteJULIE, wow I bet it has changed a good deal since your last visit. :) I'm looking forward to blogging about it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSHERI, this will be my first time too! It's exciting to think about. Now I just have to save for the hotel and gas. ;-)
Super excited that I'm going to the same conference as you are!!! ;D Can't wait to see you and your mom again!

So am I, Amber! It's going to be fun. I hope we get seats that are pretty close!
ReplyDeleteI think some things have changed(I think they called it Women of Joy back then). But Patsy Clairmont spoke and Lucy Swindoll was also there. I can't remember who the music was. Kay Arthur was a speaker too. A few changes, but the basic premise is still there.
ReplyDeleteI've attended twice in the past when WOF have been in OKC. I'm blessed to also have been selected by the Thomas Nelson Booksneeze team to be one of their partner bloggers at the conference in Oklahoma City. My mother will be attending the conference with me and we are both very excited about it. We recently attended the Women of Joy conference held here a few months back and that was such an awesome blessing!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Beverly
I have never been to one, but I'm looking forward to attending the one in Rochester.
ReplyDeleteJULIE, I can imagine so. But what fun to go from 15 years ago and now to see the differences and things that are still the same. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteKAMEKO, congratulations!! Oh what fun. Booksneeze was very generous to do this, I'm excited to be blessed with this chance.
JOY, I hope you enjoy it! Going with a group of ladies or just you?
